Is BPC-157 Effective When Taken Orally?
BPC-157 is naturally resistant to the harsh conditions of the GI tract. This allows it to have effects on GI conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and ulcers. BPC-157 taken orally has been shown to promote healing in a number of gastrointestinal conditions.
BPC-157 is derived from a naturally occurring body protection compound. It is known for its wound healing properties both within the GI tract and throughout various tissues within the body.
Modern biochemistry has improved on the natural properties of BPC-157. Scientists have developed two different forms of BPC-157: Acetate and Arginate. Strive Peptides provides BPC-157 Arginate which has an even longer shelf life and internally remains 90% bioavailable even after 5 hours in gastric acid as compared to the Acetate version. In a study published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, BPC-157 Arginate salt was found to have over 7-fold greater oral bioavailability in rats compared to BPC-157 Acetate salt.
